Nau mai, haere mai welcome to the Psychological & Sensitive Claims Services.
Psychological & Sensitive Claims Services started out as a small psychology firm based in the Manawatu helping people with pain management and rehabilitation services. We’re now part of Habit Health, and have grown our team of experts to include Counsellors, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Psychotherapists and Social Workers. We now also specialise in a wider range of psychological issues including sensitive claims through ACC's Integrated Services for Sensitive Claims (ISSC). Formerly known as Pain Management and Rehabilitation Services (PMARS) our team of clinicians are now based throughout the country.
We help families, couples and individuals from different backgrounds and specialise in counselling and psychotherapy, no matter what someone has gone through.
It is our mission to help support the survivors of sexual abuse. Our services are covered by ACC and are free to access. Our team of professional Counsellors, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Psychotherapists and Social Workers can help survivors heal and reconnect with the world around them. The impact of sexual abuse can be enormous including anxiety, depression, issues with trust and difficulties with intimacy, our counsellors are specifically trained to support recovery and wellbeing.
We are committed to helping people experiencing psychological distress by providing comprehensive counselling services from our network of Counsellors, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Psychotherapists and Social Workers. Our professionals are highly trained and skilled in effective interventions for PTSD, anxiety, depression and other disorders caused through trauma. These services are generally accessed via a referral from the ACC Psychology and Sensitive Claims services. Alternatively, you can contact us about a private referral.
Our services encompass a wide range of evidence-based psychological approaches designed to help clients resolve barriers they are struggling with. Through therapy sessions we provide a safe and compassionate space where our skilled professionals work with our clients to provide the best mental health outcomes possible and improve quality of life.
